Tips in making an e-mail.
Now days,email is a common thing in our daily life.We write a lot of e-mail almost every day.There are two kinds of email,formal and informal.
Tips in making an email
the register of an email depends on the formality of the e-mail
1.The Salutation
- formal : we can used Dear Mr/Miss X and if you don't know the name use Dear Sir or Madame.
- Informal: we can use “hey”,”hi”,or others hello
2.Opening Sentence
This part is use as an introduction of a letter or reason to write the letter.We can use pharases like “ I'm writing to...” ( formal) or “ I hope thiss e-mail.....”(informal).
3.Body
In this part we will write details about what we want to say.The different between formal and informal is the vocabularies and phrases.
4.Conclusion
This part is the part where you tell the reader what kind of respons you expected
Formal : we can use “ Looking forward to your reply”
Informal : we can use “ Hope to hear from you soon”
5.Closing
Of the letter is like the salutation is to close the letter and to tell who writes the letter
Formal : we can use “your sincerely”,”regard” or “best wishes”
Informal : we can use “ bye”,”all the best love”,etc
After that write your name and finish.
This is an example of a formal email
Dear sir,
I'm writing to inform about a new schedule.Our regular meeting is always on Wednesday because our bos is out on town,our meeting will be on Friday at 2pm.
Looking forward to see you in the meeting.
